According to The NPD Group’s SnackTrack® Holidays Christmas Profile, candy is the top purchased snack during the holidays. With candy being purchased by 50% of holiday celebrants, and 22% of those purchases intended as a gift, it’s important to have the proper selection on hand during the holidays, especially chocolate! Chocolate candy is consumed by 51% of candy eaters during the holidays! Nuts are also a top selling holiday item, purchased by 31% of adults during the holiday season.
